Bread

Today was a glorious windy, sunny day. Made sourdough pancakes for breakfast and 2 loaves of sourdough bread. My Mom gave me the starter about 2 weeks ago. You have to feed it and stir it for 10 days then you can make yummy goodies. That is why A and I went for a 2 hr walk today. We met Mike's futre MIL on Sunday. A very nice and sweet lady. Not sure if she was able to get a word in edgewise..take care...

Great News

Such great news Mike and Meghan are engaged. We are so happy. She is a lovely person and we welcome her to the family. Family coming over for dinner on Sunday - looking forward to meeting Mom and Sis.

Spring is Here!!

Spring is finally here..even if today is cold and the wind feels like snow. I went walking in the woods and clipped some branches and placed them in water in the house...the leaves are beginning to unfold..A and I went to Lynden Fairgrounds on Sat to the Craft and Antique Show..walked around Lynden, Wa...lovely town and a great day to get away..had fun at the Goodwill store picked some neat pics from a photgrapher store closed..bought the property at the Glen, Wa...A and I going down on Sat to get passes etc and to do some clean-up...bye for now
