Earth Day

Happy Earth Day!! Each of us needs to pause and think about small ways each of us can help this poor earth..I am going to use alternative bags instead of plastic..I will remember to bring and use these bags..So many people are fighting cancer..this must be the result of the earth being used as a garbage dump..remember Love Canal, New York..take care of your patch of earth.

Precious News

Well our daughter suprised us with news..we are going to be grand parents..not sure if I am ready but she and her partner are happy..funny about a month ago I bought a darling hand- made baby quilt from value village for no reason.. she will be having an ultrasound on thursday..I guess I have to get used to this idea..

Party

My Mom's suprise birthday party is tomorrow...She turned 85 on April 15..My living room is full of boxes of platters, bowls, pickles, napkins, plates and glasses and punch bowl.. all are ready to go. My Sis ML 's house and care are full of food, flowers and decorations...Jenn is down from Calgary, Mike and Meghan are coming over early to help set up at the recreation centre..So far 37 people will be there...will post the details and pics next week.. bye bye take care..

Happy Easter to all!! Just waiting for family to come for Easter dinner..paska, cabbage rolls, ham, potatoes au gratin, asparagus and my sis' famous strawberry tarts...will need a long exercise tomorrow..all the best..

Beautiful Day

Beautiful sunny day..after being busy most of the morning ..A and I walked out into the woods for a lovely up hill climb..Yesterday we walked in the Aldergrove Park, former gravel pit, renewed into a lovely green space..my back is still out of whack..walking down hill sucks.lol take care all..
