A and I took the train into Vancouver's Chinatown..I just love that place..started going when I was 16..thought it was the most exotic place ever..wandered..some of the stores have shut down due to the downturn in the economy..still the same smells and sights of pork and duck hanging in the windows, and the dried everything, like shrimp, mushrooms, every kind of fish imaginable..stopped in a number of little shops, bamboo, baskets, and calligraphy supplies..I purchased a stone stamp with the Chinese characters "Love for Peace"..sounded lovely..came home and we had lemon chicken and potato salad..cheers everyone...hope you had a lovely week-end!!
