Sewing

I have had a busy and disjointed summer. I found this fun idea on the internet. Using a vintage pillowcase, you turn it into a lil girl's dress. Next time I will narrow the case before sewing, as the dress is way too big for Maddy. However, the making of the dress sparked me out of depression that had increased over this long wet winter, spring and part of the summer. We are packing for a second trip this year to go and kiss my lil monkey granddaughter. Hopefully, my daughter can take advantage to rest. We are borrowing a tent trailer and will soon be on our way. Hope you are all having a great summer. Give your friends and family a big hug. Take care friends !!!

Cute dress. This has been a long winter/spring/cold wet summer. But now the sun is shining and I hope it continues long into the fall.

Have a wonderful trip!

Great job on the dress, Bettyann...very cute! Yes, have a safe and fun trip....how happy you will be to see your li'l granddaughter again! I'm sure your daughter will appreciate some rest time too.

My daughter, Michelle, has been exhausted lately as Mikayla has been waking up all through the night. This began when she started teething but still no teeth. Poor Michelle could do with a good night's sleep. :)

Take care,
Serena xo
