Her name is Trouble

This is Miss Kaitlyn a few months back. She had dumped a bowl of rice pablum all over herself. She is beginning to crawl, pull herself up and cruise the couch. I am visiting her tomorrow for kisses, smiles and laughs. I am a very lucky Nana.
This is Miss Maddy saying"cheese" as she was supposed to be in her bed. Her Mom forgot to screw the lid back onto the diaper cream. I love being the Nana as I can laugh and not have to do the work to clean up the mess. I get to proudly show her photo to friends and family. LOL.  Having lovely sunny weather, still enjoying being hot and sticky. Enjoy your week dear friends.

Playing together

Here is my darling granddaughter playing in her first pool with her dear daddy, my son Mike. It seems that it was just yesterday I was playing with him at this age. Reminds me of the song "turn around and they're one ..turn around and they are walking out the door...". So glad I am here for the journey..

Spring

"Nature" is what we see

"Nature" is what we see—
The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse— the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
Emily Dickinson
